A sold out show at Stubb’s, and not an empty seat in the Austin City Limits Radio studio.
Local Natives stopped by the Dell Music Lounge before their gig on Saturday night, June 15th, giving fans an intimate preview of what was to come at their concert later that evening.
The indie rock band performed three songs off their latest album Violet Street and shared a bit of their past with us, particularly performing at SXSW back in 2009.
“I think Austin always has the thread of being a music town, and I think it has gotten a little bit bigger. It’s known for a little bit more than that but for us I think that’s how it’ll always feel,” said guitarist and vocalist Taylor Rice.
Our most highly anticipated Dell Music Lounge of the year, and fans were definitely not disappointed with the band’s delivery. Be sure to check out the entire performance and interview below, including photos from the lounge.
