Evening Out: National Donut Day | Bullock Texas State History Museum | 6pm-8pm
Come and enjoy donuts and trivia at the Bullock Texas State Museum! To commemorate the centennial of WW1 and to celebrate national donut day, Gourdoughs donuts will be at the event serving food, along with trivia from Who Wants a Dollar, and in between it all take a tour of the museum’s WW1 exhibit!
Cosmos: Free Pops Concert | Zilker Hillside Theater | 8:00pm
Do you want to hear music that’s out of this world… literally? This Friday, the Austin Civic Orchestra will be putting on its free annual concert, where they will be performing music in tribute to science fiction at Sheffield Hillside Theater in Zilker Park!
Who’s on Tap? A Night of Beer and Comedy | St. Elmo Brewing Co. | 8:00pm
Come enjoy a free comedy show, featuring several great Austin comedians! Along with Austin’s top comedic performers, there will be food and drinks served at St. Elmo’s Brewing Company, and finally all four legged friends welcome in the beer garden!
Tangled (2010) | Community First Village Amphitheater | 8pm-11pm
Grab a blanket or chair and unwind with a showing of the modern Disney classic, Tangled. The event is free, but any donations of $5 are appreciated via RSVPing to the event online. There will also be food and drinks provided by Community Grill, and dogs on leashes are welcome!
Saturday, June 8th
Taste of North Austin | The Domain | 11am-4pm
Come enjoy some amazing local food this weekend with the 12th annual Taste of North Austin! With so many great restaurants to try, you can get 10 taste for $20 through Simon Guest Services at The Domain, and gain access to Majic 95.5 VIP lounge for $15 more. In addition, there will be live music, kid friendly activities, and prize giveaways!
Return of the Mac Scavenger Hunt | New Guild Co Op | 3pm-9pm
Get your game face on and participate in the Mac Demarco themed Scavenger Hunt! Teams of two will compete in the event along Guadalupe street, where the team’s with the fastest time, best social media post, and by pure chance will win a bunch of cool prizes! Afterwards there will be a Mac DeMarco listening party with free booze!

The Sidepiece Collective, StereoFiend and Clusterfunk at Whip In! | Whip In | 6:30pm-10:30pm
Jazz? Funk? Hip-Hop? All combined? At Whip In this Saturday, get down to some dance music by three great musical acts. The event is free, but $3 is added to every bar tab opened.
Hamilton | Bass Concert Hall | 8:00pm
What is there to say? This Saturday, the iconic broadway musical Hamilton will be playing here in Austin at the Bass Concert Hall! Tickets are available on the Texas Performing Arts website, and we recommend getting tickets fast!
