Austin wins, again!
According to the U.S. News & World Report’s, we have ranked as the best place to live in the nation, for the third year in a row.
Out of 125 cities, Austin beat San Francisco, Portland and Seattle. Other Texas cities that made it to the list include Dallas in 21st place, Houston as 30th best, and San Antonio at 34th.
The decision was influenced by a handful of things such as the job market and housing affordability. The biggest factor that was taken into consideration was quality of life; specifically crime rates, commutes, health care options, social life, and how residents manage physically and financially.
