Weezer and Calpurnia joined forces for the band’s latest video.
Just yesterday, Weezer released a music video for their cover of a-ha’s “Take on Me,” which is featured in their latest self-titled album of covers, also known as the The Teal Album.
The music video features the band Calpurnia throwing it back to the ‘80s. Frontman Finn Wolfhard plays a younger version of Rivers Cuomo jamming out in the living room of his home. The video even paid homage to a-ha’s original music video, as it transitions back and forth to pencil animations.

Weezer’s collection of cover songs isn’t the only music we’re getting from the band this year. Their next album of original songs called The Black Album will be released on March 1st. This will be the band’s 13th album.
