Illiterate Light performed in the Dell Music Lounge for an intimate audience before their show at Barracuda on Monday.
The witty duo did a stripped down acoustic version of their songs, and stripped down some of their own clothing for the live studio audience as well.
In the interview with Andy Langer, group members Jeff Gorman and Jake Cochran started discussing another passion outside of music – their socks and underwear.
Their favorite socks, Darn Tough, are a woolen blend they’ve had about eight or nine years, but they are a bit divided on what are the best briefs.
“I speak openly about my panties,” Cochran said. “I’m pretty clear, I’m also on the wool train.”
However, bandmate Gorman isn’t decided. He said, “[I’m] still looking for the perfect pair. I’m still cotton personally.” Just a few years before they got their socks, Cochran and Gorman met on an organic farm and eventually created Illiterate Light in 2015.
Illiterate Light’s debut album Vampire Blues is out now. Check out the entire performance and interview, plus photos from Dell Music Lounge below.
