Green Day premiered their new single titled “Here Comes The Shock” this past weekend during the NHL’s Outdoors game at Lake Tahoe.
For the past two NHL seasons, Green Day have been the official band and have used the league’s games to debut new music like their single “Fire, Ready, Aim” from their album Father of All Motherfuckers.
After the debut, “Here Comes The Shock” went live of streaming services in the US on February 21. Watch the music video below.

Green Day’s latest album was released February 7, 2020 and since then they have revived their side project The Network. Back in December, the group unveiled their first album in over 16 years called Money Money 2020: Part II: Told Ya So!. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong also dropped his No Fun Mondays solo cover LP in November 2020, featuring covers of Adam Schlesinger’s “That Thing You Do!,” The Bangles’ “Manic Monday,” and The Shondelles’ “I Think We’re Alone Now.”
