Alejandro Rose-Garcia, better known as Shakey Graves, has announced a series of livestreams to celebrate the 10th anniversary of “Shakey Graves Day” and the release of his debut album Roll The Bones. The first of three shows will broadcast live from Denton, TX on Tuesday, Feb. 9—officially declared “Shakey Graves Day” by the Austin City Council back in 2012—and will feature “music, conversation, and a special project announcement.”
Ticket options include $20 single livestream passes and $50 series passes—both with 72-hour replay access after the show. There are also a few VIP packages for those who want to add a five-minute meet-and-greet. All options are available now via shakeygraves.com.
As part of an ongoing Shakey Graves Day tradition, the Austin singer-songwriter will make his extended music catalog—including a new release and “fun announcements and doodads”—available for three days on Bandcamp with the option to “name your own price.” Proceeds from this year’s Shakey Graves Day will go to Free Lunch, a program that provides nutritious and sustainable meals to those experiencing homelessness in the Austin community.
