Producer, songwriter and artist. The 22-year-old musician can do it all. Which is why he should be at the top of your watchlist for ACL Fest.
Finneas O’Connell grew up in East Los Angeles and was homeschooled with his sister Billie Eilish; music being a prominent part of their background. At age 11, the artist was already learning how to play piano and guitar with the help of his parents. A few years later, Finneas mastered production, learning the artistic tactics all on his own.
In 2016, Finneas wrote what was to become a song streamed by millions of people worldwide. Having a vision for “Ocean Eyes,” he went to his younger sister for vocals and the duo became unstoppable since. Writing and working on countless hit singles with his sister, 2018 was the year he made a name for himself.
The siblings worked on WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? which came out earlier this year, and with Finneas’ solo projects now being shared with the world, he has proven his talents even more. Opening up for Billie at sold out shows performing his solo projects, and joining her on stage right after each night truly shows that Finneas’ knack for music can’t be disregarded. Talk about execution at its finest.
Listen to his 2019 single “I Lost A Friend” below. Finneas can be found at the Miller Lite stage the first weekend of ACL Fest on Saturday, October 5th at 1:15pm.
