Relax on your Friday night by practicing the sister science to yoga- Ayurveda. In this course, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about how to take care of your body by understanding the different approaches to the science behind self-care. This class is open to anyone who wants to have a balanced and healthy lifestyle! You don’t need to be a pro to join in.

Cravin’ something sweet but also juicy? Cocktails and cupcakes might be the perfect combo for you! 21+ can drink up on some kombucha cocktails and enjoy tasty cupcakes from Gina with Dolce Terra! But there’s more to devour! Chocolate chip cookies and sweet coconut bread will be available to taste and purchase. Mocktails will also be available.
Bat Paddle | Rowing Dock | 6:30PM-10:30PM
If you haven’t seen over 1.5 million bats fly over your head do you even live in Austin?! Bring your friends and paddle in a kayak for two miles to the Congress Avenue Bridge. You’ll get to see bats fly overhead! Rowing Dock guides will tag along with you on your commute. Aside from seeing bats, you’ll get to see the skyline, the Austin power plant, and so much more.
Salsa & Bachata Newcomer Night | Go Dance | 7:45PM-9:15PM
Want to spice things up tonight? Introduce your mind and body to Salsa and Bachata! Bring your favorite dancing partner, or make it a date night. This course is BYOB but there will also be a Happy Half-Hour with complementary beer and wine! You can in pay in-studio or pre-pay online.

ArtWorks Festival | Paramount Theater | 9AM-6PM
A work of art all in one place. From ceramic, to jewelry, metalwork, and sculptures, this two day event showcases amazing art pieces to bring artists and artists lovers together. Best part of it all, it’s free to attend!
3rd Annual Festival of Good | Whitter Park | 10AM-2PM
It’s a summer celebration! The 3rd Annual Festival of Good is a family-friendly event for everyone to enjoy. Whether it’s yoga, kid activities, crafts, or a petting zoo, there’s definitely something fun for everyone to enjoy.
Bat Fest | Congress Ave Bridge | 4PM-11:45PM
Music, food, and bats. Can’t get any better than that. $15 early-bird tickets are up for grabs, or you can pay $20 the day of the fest. The music lineup includes Ying Yang Twins, Petey Pablo, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and more. Bring the kiddos along! There will be kid-friendly activities, a bat costume contest, plus more.
Sunday, August 25th
Texas Farmer’s Market | Mueller Lake Park | 10AM-2PM
Get your Sunday shopping on. Shop local vendors for meats, dairy and consumer produce! More than 65 Texas farmers, ranchers, and food producers will be on-site. This market only open every Sunday from 10AM-2PM so take advantage! Music from local artists will be there to perform throughout the setup.
Domain Food Truck | The Domain | 11AM
Change things up this weekend! Head over to the Domain Food Truck to try out the month of August vendors! Cajun Skillet, Hungry Js, Three Bs Tacos, Aurora Venezuelan, My Grannys Kitchen, and Odd Pop Hand Crafted Fruit & Ice Cream Popsicles will be on-site! This is a new addition to food truck drives in Austin, so if you haven’t visited this one just yet, maybe you should give it a try. Who knows, it might become your favorite go-to food truck court!
Hot Sauce Fest | Fiesta Gardens | 11AM-5PM
The Austin Chronicle Hot Sauce Festival is back to spice up your life this weekend! It’s the 29th season of the world’s largest hot sauce fest. There will be a hot sauce competition, but you don’t have to compete to participate in the tastings! You’ll have the chance to sample hundreds of hot sauces. Food vendors will be on-site and live performances are scheduled throughout the spicy festivities!
