Texas Tribune Festival

 

Texas Tribune Festival
All Weekend| Downtown Austin

The annual Texas Tribune Festival will be taking over the streets of Downtown Austin throughout the weekend of Sep. 28. With more than 300 speakers in panel discussions, interviews, and networking opportunities, this event is perfect for those who want to make a change in the city of Austin. Speakers of the festival include Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, Beto O’Rourke, and co-host of Showtime’s “The Circus”, Alex Wagner.

Interpol with Sunflower Bean
8:00 PM | Bass Concert Hall

New York City based bands, Interpol and Sunflower Bean, will be playing at Bass Concert Hall on Friday, Sept. 28. These indie artists will be sure to help you start your weekend off with good vibes through their easy listening music. Doors open at 6:30 and tickets are available on their site for $40-$55.

 

Saturday, Septmeber 29th

 

Austin City Limits Radio Pop Up
12 PM| Spec’s at South Towne Square

This Saturday, Austin City Limits Radio is hosting a pop up event at Spec’s at South Towne Square. Stop by the location between 12pm – 2pm to enter your chance to win front row seats and a tab at our Live Morning Broadcast during ACL Music Festival which includes live performances from Hozier, Chvrches, lovelytheband and more.
 

Robert Plant and Lucinda Williams
8:00 PM| ACL Live

Classic rock legend Robert Plant will be making his triumphant return to Austin, Texas this weekend for three consecutive nights alongslide Lucinda Williams at ACL Live. Tickets to their Saturday and Sunday night shows have sold out, but seats are still available for night three and can be purchased online via Eventbrite!

 

 

Sunday, September 30th

 

Texas Farmers Market
10 AM | Mueller

The weekly community hang out located lakeside at Mueller is a great way to enjoy being outside while supporting local businesses in Austin. With food trucks, homegrown veggie tents, and live music, the Texas Farmers’ Market is filled with clean, healthy options for the local foodie.

 

Austin City Limits Radio’s End of Summer Splash with Lord Huron
7:00 PM | Stubb’s

Austin City Limits Radio is hosting their annual End of Summer Splash event, this year with Lord Huron as the special guest. Tickets are sold out for the show at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater but tune into Austin City Limits Radio to hear how you can enter a chance to win free tickets to the show!
