On Monday, Billie Eilish teased fans with a 15-second video showcasing her light blonde hair and a new audio snippet that left the world questioning whether new music was on the way. Come Tuesday morning, Eilish revealed that her sophomore album Happier Than Ever drops on July 30.
Happier Than Ever
Eilish says she’s eager for fans to hear the upcoming project. “this is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it. i can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel,” wrote the 19-year-old on Instagram.
The artist also disclosed that a new song is on the way. The first single from Happier Than Ever arrives on Thursday, May 29.
Eilish’s second LP totals to 16 songs, including her past two singles “my future” and “Therefore I Am.” Back in February, Eilish and Finneas took home four Grammy awards. The unstoppable sibling-duo won Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Producer.
