Billie Eilish released a trailer for a new documentary film called Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry. The 18-year-old artist made the announcement on September 28th with a 30-second clip showing her logo, the title of the film and its release date.
The new film was directed by RJ Cutler and will premiere in theaters and on Apple TV+ in February 2021.
Sources say film crews have been capturing footage of Eilish for years now, likely since 2016. The documentary will feature exclusive moments from the artist’s 2019 world tour.
This news follows the Grammy award winning artist’s tease from earlier this month, when she told fans on Instagram Live that she’ll be releasing new music soon. “Yeah, I have a song and a video coming in a couple of weeks.” The artist then made an eye-wide expression and said, “Or a month. I actually don’t know when. Shouldn’t have said that… okay I’m gonna go now.”
Billie Eilish has also been nominated for a total of 12 Billboard Music Awards and recently partnered up with Fender to create a custom-made ukulele. “ukulele was the first instrument i wrote a song onnnn 🥰 proud to have designed this signature ukulele with @fender go buy one,” she wrote.
