2021 is off to a good start thanks to Foo Fighters.
The group unveiled the second single from their upcoming album Medicine at Midnight.
They released the track “No Son of Mine” on New Year’s Eve.

Frontman Dave Grohl posted a hand-written note on social media on New Year’s Day telling fans “the wait is over.” The signed letter uncovers the initial plans of the new album. Medicine at Midnight was completed one year ago, however the pandemic caused a halt to releasing the work. Additionally, they planned for a world tour for 2020, one that would commemorate their 25th anniversary as a band.
Grohl writes that the group decided to stop waiting. “We finally realized that our music is made to be heard, whether it’s in a festival field with 50,000 of our closest friends, or alone in your living room on a Saturday night with a stiff cocktail.”

This will be the band’s 10th studio album. Medicine at Midnight is due out February 5, it’s available for pre-order now.
