Foo Fighters are celebrating an anniversary, Dave Grohl’s birthday and now, a new song release.
The rock group return with a new track off their upcoming album Medicine at Midnight. The new song is titled “Waiting on War.” They shared the track on January 14, which is also Dave Grohl’s birthday (happy birthday!).
This is the third single they’ve shared from the highly anticipated 10th studio album. Back in November 2020, the band debuted the first single “Shame Shame” on Saturday Night Live. And to start 2021 on the right track, the group unveiled the second single “No Son of Mine” on New Year’s Eve.
2021 marks 25 years since the band formed. To commemorate, they’re making sure fans can celebrate with them in style. The Seattle band collaborated with Vans on custom designed Sk8-Hi sneakers. The special limited edition shoes come in the classic black Vans style that feature Foo Fighters’ signature logo on the inner side of each shoe, and their name’s visibly written on the back. On the left you’ll see the word “Foo” while the right sneaker shows “Fighters” printed in bold red letters.
