Live in the Dell Music Lounge: Dayglow

Dayglow

After 16 months of virtual performances and interviews, Sloan Struble, known as Dayglow, shifted Dell Music Lounges back to a live studio audience.

The 21-year-old artist performed tracks from his latest album Harmony House along with a couple of songs from his 2019 LP Fuzzybrain. Back in 2020, Dayglow was set to go on his first-ever headlining tour. With the coronavirus outbreak, the artist had to postpone the tour. But fast forward to 2021, Struble’s hitting the road for his Harmony House Tour and will be performing at Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Music Festival.

After not performing in front of an actual live audience for a while now, Struble mentioned that nerves are definitely kicking in, especially with his Lollapalooza performance right around the corner. “We’re excited but it’s going to be weird.” Struble jokingly continued and said, “But I do have this theory that this next year or two, peoples ears are just going gonna be like, turned off at shows with just so much pint up excitement that like you can play terribly and people will be like ‘yeah that’s great because live music is back’ so I feel like the pressure’s off a little bit.”

See what else Struble had to say about working on music for the past year and his upcoming tour below.
