Blur will be reuniting this Summer, July 8th
This will be Blur’s first headlining show in 8 years set at London’s Wembley Stadium. Singer Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree should be returning for the 2023 show.
The band won’t be alone, they’ll be joined by supporting acts slowthai, Jockstrap and Self Esteem. Unfortunately, Blur does not have a full tour scheduled but they likely will be planning more shows for 2023.
Damon Albarn is set on a busy path, his band Gorillaz are planning to release an album titled ‘Cracker Island’ early 2023. The virtual, collaborative band recently made a pit-stop in Austin, during their Fall 2022 North American Tour.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, November 18th on Ticketmaster. There will also be an artist pre-sale starting Wednesday, November 16th.
