SIIGHTS – Through Thick and Thin
SIIGHTS, an indie-pop duo comprising Mia Fitz from Dublin and Toni Etherson from Glasgow, have returned with a new EP titled “Through Thick And Thin.” This EP demonstrates their title as one of the most exciting new bands. This Episode filled with dreamy, hazy sound and catchy melodies. The duo met in Los Angeles and released their debut EP “Blue Skies” in 2020, followed by “Somewhere Between Lost & Found” in 2023. “Through Thick And Thin” features songs like “6am to Paris” and “Words,” showcasing their strong production, fantastic vocals, and heavy emotion. It’s an EP that leaves listeners eager to lister to more from SIIGHTS.
Quiet Light – Fresca
Riya Mahesh, the 23 year old electric folk artist behind Quiet Light releases her new song titled ‘Fresca.’ The artist describes the making of this track as feeling “possessed” and flowing out in a studio session with collaborator Nico Fennell. Her latest album ‘Blue Angel Sparkling Silver’ released last year with a similar electronic infused folk sound.
Fletcher- In Search of the Antidote
Fletcher’s upcoming album “In Search of the Antidote” serves as a sequel to her debut “Girl Of My Dreams”. The album explores themes of identity, showcasing distinct production and a powerful vocal delivery. The lyrics portray Fletcher’s reflection on her journey of seeking healing and love.
Julia Holter- Something in the Room She Moves
Julia Holter’s sixth album “Something in the Room She Moves” delves into an exploration of her inner feelings, with lyrics throughout the project reflecting this theme. Unlike her previous works focused on memory and the past, this album centers more on the present moment. Holter goes about shaping the album’s production choices and arrangements in a unique way that ties along with the theme of the project. Her latest single “Evening Mood” is filled with electric bass pitches intertwine with gliding vocal melodies. Holter aimed to create an album that captures the sounds that harmonize with the body and brings a calm emotion to the listener. The music video for her latest single creates an atmosphere that the music will bring to the listener.
Shakira – Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran
Mark your calendars for March 22 as Shakira makes her long-awaited return with her first album in seven years, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” . This album is set to be a powerful soundtrack of strength, featuring 17 empowering songs the should resonate with many listeners. Following the success of her previous album “El Dorado” in 2017, Shakira’s upcoming release is highly anticipated. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Shakira expressed her gratitude to her fans, referring to them as her pack of shewolves who have been her support throughout her journey.
