Austin City Limits Radio is heartbroken to hear the tragic news of frontman Daniel Sahad from Austin’s own Nané.
Sahad passed away Sunday night at the age of 29. Nané released a statement on their Instagram informing fans about the band’s co-founder.
“It is with unbelievable pain that we have to share our beautiful leader, Daniel Sahad passed away last night. Please give his family and friends the space they need to process this tragedy. Thank you all.”
Sahad had stage presence like no other. He touched many souls here in Austin with his powerful, roaring vocals, lyrics, and charm. Sahad will forever be missed.
A Spot Fund has been created to raise money for Daniel Sahad’s funeral. You can make a donation to help reach their goal of $15,000.
We were extremely fortunate to witness a live performance of Sahad in our Dell Music Lounge back in 2021.
