Bright Eyes released a statement on Instagram sending “love and solidarity to everyone out there feeling alone, frightened and isolated.” Although times like these are causing countless of delays in the music world, the band said they “will be releasing a new album this year no matter what.”
Back in February, frontman Conon Oberst announced the band’s comeback and revealed upcoming global tour dates. Now, they’re “reassessing” and are hoping to see their fans “sooner rather than later.”
The new tune follows the band’s last album The People’s Key. As of now they’re set to headline End of the Road Festival in September. No cancelations have been announced just yet, but organizers stated the festival is being closely monitored.
