The group’s fourth studio album, Notes on a Conditional Form, was originally set to be released on February 21st, but it will now drop on May 22nd, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 22 track album will include previously-released singles “The 1975,” “People,” “Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America” and “If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know).” The 1975 has not confirmed if they will continue the listening parties up until the release of their upcoming record, but the band’s manager and founder of their label Dirty Hitteased, Jamie Oborne, has been teasing the idea with fans on Twitter.
