In honor of celebrating the 10th year anniversary of their third studio album, “Day & Age”, The Killers have announced a special re-release of the album coming out next month. The special edition of the album will include new album art and singles that have previously been released only as B-sides.
“Day & Age”, which debuted on November 18, 2008, went triple platinum. In 2009, “Day & Age” was nominated for Best International Album at the BRIT Awards and for Best Album and Album Artwork at the NME Awards. Lastly, the iconic album showcased some of the band’s most famous songs such as “Human” and “Spaceman”.
With such a successful, monumental album, The Killers have confirmed that on Dec. 14, the band is releasing a special anniversary edition of “Day & Age”. The reissue will be available on standard black vinyl, however, a limited edition of silver vinyl is offered to fans. Both of these deluxe packages are released in hardcover cases, complete with a patterned foil finish.
Since the announcement of the special edition of “Day & Age”, The Killers have shared three eSingles, remixes of “Human”, “Spaceman”, and the digital publishing of “Joy Ride (Night Version)” to Spotify and Apple Music.
Pre-order for the album can be purchased here.
