Titled “Caution,” the single is a glimpse of what’s to come this spring as the band’s anticipated album Imploding the Mirage is set to be released on May 29th. The band tweeted a behind-the-scenes preview of them creating the new tune in a studio. Fans were given a tease of the electronic beat and drums while frontman Brandon Flowers sang a portion of the chorus, “I’m throwing caution.” Austin City Limits Radio premiered the tune this morning, take a listen if you haven’t heard it yet:
The Killers – Caution
The Killers are set to begin their tour in May and will kick things off in the UK then make their way to Texas in September. The band will be in Houston on September 10th, Fort Worth on September 11th, and you can catch them in Austin on September 12th.
The band released a statement via Twitter, saying they are “paying close attention to the recent precautionary measures” concerning coronavirus. As of now, they are not canceling any tour dates, reassuring fans that they “look forward to a great summer of shows.” Plus, they provided a helpful tip when it comes to washing our hands, just sing the chorus of “Mr. Brightside.”
