A live album is coming from The Raconteurs.
The band announced a new triple LP live album called Live in Tulsa that will be added to the latest installment in Third Man’s Records’ Vault subscription. The album was recorded in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where The Raconteurs had a three-show run at Cain’s Ballroom during their Help Us Stranger tour.
It has been two years since The Raconteurs released their last live album Live at Irving Plaza NYC back in 2017. The upcoming recordings will also feature tunes from their previous albums Consolers of the Lonely and Broken Boy Soldiers.
The releases don’t stop there. An acoustic concert film with Jack White and Brendan Benson will be coming soon. The show was filmed on July 9th, 2019 at Third Man Records Cass Corridor. It will be available in Blu-Ray, and will include Jack White and Brendan Benson’s first-ever performance together at the Garden Bowl Lounge in Detroit on March 14th, 1999- which was captured in an “ultra lo-fi, camcorder and condenser microphone.”
