Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig says the band has a whole album’s worth of new music.
Koenig joined Blink 182’s bassist Mark Hoppus’ show After School Radio to talk about the group’s latest material. Koenig told Hoppus they’ve been creating new tracks, but he’s “hesistant” to say when it’ll be completed. “Sometimes I oversell how close we are with the record because who really knows? But we almost have an album’s worth of songs.”
Koenig added that the band’s “feeling really good about the new material.” Although there’s no official date or anything, it seems like we might get a chance to hear what they’re working pretty soon, hopefully.
