Man! No alarm clock needed this morning. Woke up to the sound of hail slammin against the house promptly at 4:02am! Hopefully there was no damage to anything in your neck of the woods.
*Texas Longhorns Women’s Basketball will make their 16th appearance in the Sweet 16 this coming Sunday in the NCAA Women’s National Championship Tournament. The Horns knocked off the UCLA Bruins in San Antonio last night 71-62 in the 2nd round match up. Up next is a game on Sunday night at 8p.m. when the Longhorns face off against the Terps of Maryland. Watch on ESPN.
*Our first Wild Card of the morning really needs no explanation. Thought of this one all on my own on the rainy ride in.
*We heard a Vault selection this morning from KT Tunstall, recorded here in our music lounge. Here she is performing as a part of International Women’s Day a couple weeks back.
*When I woke up and looked at my email this morning (after the hail) I noticed I had received some new material from JUNGLE. For our second Wild Card we danced to their new one “Keep Moving” from their forthcoming new album “Loving In Stereo.”
*Our third and final Wild Card of the morning comes to us courtesy of Beabadoobee! The 20 year old Brit has a new E.P. coming out this Summer and has shared “Last Day on Earth” in advance.
