Halfway there ya’ll. Happy St. Patrick’s Day out there, too. I’m thinking about the usual “clash” of SXSW attendees and St. Patrick’s revelers downtown today. Usually made for an interesting SX day, to say the least. Sigh. At least this year, theoretically, you can get “in” to any show you’d like without hearing the dreaded “C” word. (capacity)
SXSW is all online this week and runs through the 20th.
*Our 1st Wild Card this morning came from Fontaines DC, straight outta Dublin. Got to see them tour with IDLES a few years back at Barracuda (rip). We played “Boys in the Better Land” to get this St. Patty’s Day goin.
* “We’re Texas” goes down this Sunday evening at 7pm, stream-able on YouTube.
*For our second Wild Card this morning, we heard from Two Door Cinema Club from Bangor, Ireland, I felt like it was a better choice than hearing something like”I LOST MY LEGS!!!!!!”
