The Killers have a new album coming out this year, but the release date is unknown. Once set to be out on May 29, the album due date has now been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Until then, the band is dropping some new tunes here and there that will be featured in the upcoming album, Imploding the Mirage.
Their latest single is called “Fire in Bone.” The band took to social media to say “Fire in Bone” is one of their “favorite album tracks.” The new song follows their previous single “Caution,” which was released last month in March.

The two studio releases, however, have some new company. The Killers premiered a new track live on CBS This Morning called “Blowback.” In the video frontman Brandon Flowers plays the piano while singing, “She’s breathing in the blowback/Born into poor white trash and always type-cast/But she’s gonna break out, boy you better know that/It’s just a matter of time/She fights back/Breathing in the blowback.” Ronnie Vannucci joined him in the studio on guitar.
The two also performed a cover of Tom Petty’s “The Waiting.” Listen to the new songs and cover below.
