Black Pumas “Black Moon Rising” [SXSW 2018]
Back in 2018, Black Pumas joined us at our Live Morning Broadcast during SXSW. The Austin band released their self-titled debut album in 2019, and were nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards. The band is currently postponing their 2020 tour dates, including their four sold-out shows here at Stubb’s.
“AUSTIN – Thank you for helping us make history with this run of shows! We can’t wait to see you.” Initially set to play in May, all four shows will take place September 4-7. Black Pumas also recently joined Austin City Limits Radio, again, for the first-ever virtual Dell Music Lounge. Check out their performance of “Fire” and “Colors” below.
MUTEMATH “Light Up” [ACL 2015]
MUTEMATH joined us during ACL Fest back in 2015 to perform their song “Light Up.”
The band released a coffee table photo book in March. Frontman Paul Meany took to Instagram to say, “I’m so thankful to the fambase and photographers who made this possible. I think it’s an amazing project to memorialize a chapter I’m so proud of.” The “Forever We Remain Hardcover Book” features 230 pages of photos from “their 13+ years of touring and recording.” Photos included are narrated by fans, and it even features some photo moments that have never been released before. The photo book is available to purchase for $49.99.
Meany has also been working on some music projects during quarantine. The frontman co-produced Twenty One Pilots’ new song “Level of Concern.”
The Wallflowers “One Headlight” [Music Lounge]

Ra Ra Riot “Water” [SXSW 2016]
Ra Ra Riot joined us at our Live Morning Broadcast during SXSW in 2016 and performed their song “Water” from their album Need Your Light. During this time of quarantine, the band has taken the time to share some live stream content on their social media. Check out their latest below:
The Lumineers “Ho Hey” [ACL 2012]
Back in 2012, The Lumineers joined us in our tiny setup backstage at ACL Fest to perform “Ho Hey” from their debut album.
Since then, the band has released two new albums, including their 2019 album called III. The Lumineers were set to go on tour starting this spring. However, the coronavirus pandemic caused the band to cancel their May and June tour dates. The folk rock band is also scheduled to stop by Austin on September 18.
During this quarantine, the group has participated in a handful of virtual fundraising live streams, including The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, check it out below.
