Want to register for a COVID-19 vaccination? We got you covered. Beginning March 29, Texans over the age of 16 are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are accepting all phases.

Here’s a compiled list of locations where you can sign up online to register for your vaccine. We have included Austin and surrounding areas to give you the best chance of finding a convenient location.

 

Baylor Scott & White Health

Open for Phase 1A and 1B Texans as of February 9. To be notified of appointment availability, BSW recommends creating an online MyBSWHealth account. Registration forms and time slots can be accessed through your account.


Ascension Seton (Greater Austin)

As of right now, Ascension Seton is primarily serving its high-risk patients and those with Phase 1B status. Staff is reviewing medical records for these patients and are contacting them by phone, email, and text to schedule appointments. More info will be posted on their website when appointments are available.


Austin Public Health

Once you pre-register online and if there is enough supply, APH will contact you with a separate link to schedule you an appointment. You can also call (512)-972-5560 for more information and assistance with pre-registering.


CVS Pharmacy

Only select CVS locations are offering the vaccine (starting Feb. 12) if shipments have arrived on time. You can check their website for vaccine availability and register on CVS.com or though the CVS app. Registration can also be completed over the phone at (800)-746-7287. Once time slots are available and you are eligible, you be able to schedule both first and second doses though the online options. The vaccine will be free with insurance or a government program for the uninsured (Medicaid/Medicare).


Family Hospital Systems

To secure a spot for the vaccine, register for the waiting list here. Once they receive more shipments of the vaccine, they will email you a booking link to allow you to school a time slot.


Hays County

Hays has launched it COVID-19 vaccination portal for those with Phase 1A and 1B status. Those without internet access can register at 512-938-1650. Residents looking to book an appointment should continue to monitor the county’s website. They can also sign up for text alerts by texting “COVID” to 844-928-3213. For more information about appointments, click here.


H-E-B

Registration for Phase 1A and 1B are open at some locations. No walk-ins will be accepted, you must make an appointment. H-E-B’s registration portal allows you to check their available appointments. It is recommended to keep checking back for available time slots.

You will be able to schedule your second dose 28 days after your first dose at the same H-E-B location. They will reach out to you to help schedule your second dose by email or phone. For more information, H-E-B encourages you to call 1(800)-811-8620 between 8am and 4pm.


Hill Country Memorial Hospital

Although it is unconfirmed if the hospital has doses available, they have interest in the vaccine form those eligible. By filling out this form, staff will be able to contact you when and if it’s time to schedule an appointment.


Martin’s Wellness Pharmacy

To obtain an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine, register for the waiting list here. Once they receive more shipments of the vaccine, they will email you a booking link to allow you to choose a time slot.


Randalls

The Randalls registration for the COVID-19 vaccine takes you to a scheduler that includes all brands of the Albertsons Companies umbrella. You will be able to enter your sip code and adjust the mile radius to find locations closest to you. They do ask that only eligible people (Phase 1A and 1B) sign up right now. You must bring proof of your eligibility status to your appointment. You can sign up to get more info about the vaccine from Randalls online here.


Texas Public Health Vaccine Scheduler

A new way to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine. You will be added to a waitlist after creating a profile with your information, following a questionnaire to see whether you have pre-existing conditions or if you’re an essential worker.


Tarrytown Pharmacy

If Tarrytown Pharmacy receives doses and appointments become available, you can register for their communications list. If appointments do become available, the staff will contact you via email. Signing up does not meant they have doses or appointments readily available at this time. All communications about the COVID-19 vaccine from Tarrytown will arrive though emails. Staff will reach out to you with a unique scheduling link for people to book an appointment.


UT Health Austin (Dell Medical School)

UT Health has different pre-registration forms for Phase 1A and 1B as well as if you’re faculty, a student, or a staff member that falls under those phases.

UT Health will schedule appointments when doses are allocated, shipped, and delivered by the Texas Department of State Health Services. This could take weeks, and UT Health said that on Feb. 3, more than 100,000 people are pre-registered and it could take months to get through them.


Walgreens

Vaccinations in select Walgreens stores began on Feb. 12. Although it is not publicly listed how many Texas stores will be administering doses you can continue to check availability and also pre-register with Walgreens online here. There are certain eligibility requirements. You will need to be signed into a Walgreens.com pharmacy account to access the ore-registration link. You will then go through a short screening, and is you’re eligible, you will choose a location and time for an appointment. Both first and second doses are scheduled at the same time.


Williamson County

The hub in Williamson County is administering its vaccines through Family Hospital Systems. You can pre-register for the waitlist online here. The county will schedule appointments according to the date and time someone pre-registered and determine urgency. You will be contacted by email or phone when it is your turn to schedule. You can also call (512)-943-1600 for help scheduling your appointment. Williamson county also has Vaccine Registration Technical Assistance (VRTA) centers to help people with its pre-registration process. If you need help completing the online process, you can visit First Baptist Church in Taylor on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. No appointment is needed for this.


38th Street Pharmacy

38th Street Pharmacy’s waiting list is currently closed until they receive more shipments of the vaccine. They encourage you to check back frequently for updates.
