Austin-based nonprofit Indie Meme has recently announced the dates and lineup for their ninth annual Indie Meme Film Festival (IMFF). The festival, which will take place from April 17 to April 21 at the Austin Film Society Cinema, will feature a vibrant lineup of over 30 international films from more than 13 South Asian countries, with a focus on female filmmakers and global human interest stories. Waterloo Greenway and H-E-B present the Our Texas, Our Future Wildlife & Environmental Festival at Waterloo Park! This free festival is a celebration of Texas’ beautiful parks, resilient wildlife, and the Texans helping conserve & protect them for future generations. The festival will feature interactive exhibits, wildlife demonstrations, sustainability workshops, guided garden tours, and a variety of hands-on art and STEM workshops. Upon entry to the festival, H-E-B encourages visitors to bring their plastic retail bags to recycle in the H-E-B bins. Visitors who bring plastic bags to recycle will be entered to win exciting prizes and gift cards from H-E-B, Texas State Parks, and Waterloo Greenway! FREE.

It’s crawfish season! Join Hoodoo Crawfish at the YETI Flagship store this Sunday for a classic crawfish boil. The event is free to attend and Independence Brewing will be on site offering samples of some of their favorite brews. Hours are 12pm – 4pm so come by and grab a plate!
