Precinct 3 Court to Offer Curbside Service

As of June 1, Williamson County began the process of reopening its public facilities.  Health officials say mitigation efforts have so far helped keep COVID-19 transmissions down, but the concern remains nevertheless.  It is those concerns that have led the Williamson County Justice of the Peace Court Precinct 3 office to seek alternate ways to offer services amid the pandemic, and one of those alternatives is a curbside option.  The curbside service will begin on Tuesday, June 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at 100 Wilco Way in Georgetown.

“People feel compelled to come to court to take care of business, so we want to extend a safe avenue for those who aren’t ready to come inside by offering curbside service,” said Williamson County Justice of the Peace Judge Evelyn McLean.

Customers will be able to drive up and make a credit or debit card payment without having to come into the building, the county says.
