Be sure to stick with KGSR for all the latest info on upcoming shows and events you won’t want to miss! Check out our latest list of artists coming to Austin this summer we can’t wait to see:

Ray LaMontagne – June 9 @ Austin360 Amphitheater

Grammy-winning folk rock artist Ray LaMontagne will be performing Saturday, June 6, at Austin360 Amphitheater, with special guest Neko Case. LaMontagne recently released his self-written and produced seventh studio album, “Part of the Light,” which features nine tracks, including the earlier-released hit single “Such a Simple Thing.” KGSR will be hosting an exclusive meet and greet with LaMontagne before the show on Saturday for fans… Currently on tour for the summer, LaMontagne will be stopping in Austin for one night only, so don’t miss out on this special chance to see him live and go grab your tickets now!

Frank Turner – June 13 @ Stubb’s

English folk musician Frank Turner, currently touring his latest album “Be More Kind,” is set to perform June 13 at Stubb’s with special guests Lucero, The Menzingers and The Homeless Gospel Choir. In the popular title track the 36-year-old admitted former anarchist asks listeners “in a world that has decided that it’s going to lose its mind – be more kind my friends, try to be more kind.” Only a year after his last full album was released, Turner says he’s “exhausted, nervous, confident, relieved and expectant” about the release of his latest project, but mostly “happy to share these songs with you all.”

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit – August 24-26 @ Bass Concert Hall

Currently on tour in Europe, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will be visiting Austin for three shows at Bass Concert Hall August 24, 25 and 26. Their new album, “The Nashville Sound,” is appropriately named – featuring an impressive range of styles, from rock to folk-acoustic, with a healthy dose of southern twang the whole way through. Known for his work as a solo artist, for which he received two Grammy awards for Best Americana Album and Best American Roots Song (“24 Frames”), Isbell joined forces with the 400 Unit (named after a psych ward in an Alabama hospital) in 2009, and they’ve produced four records since.

Lord Huron – Sept. 30 @ Stubb’s (ESS)

Last but not least, we couldn’t be more excited to close out the summer of fun with indie band Lord Huron at our KGSR End of Summer Splash at Stubb’s on Sept. 30. The LA-based outfit got their big break this year, when their song, “The Night We Met,” from their 2015 album, “Strange Trails,” was featured on the soundtrack of the highly-anticipated second season of Netflix’s wildly popular “13 Reasons Why,” released in May. Now they’ve released their first major record label, “Vide Noir” which has already produced hits like “Wait by the River” and “When the Night is Over.” Lord Huron will be on the road in the states until moving onto the European leg of their tour in October.
