Ed Sheeran “Lego House” [LIVE Music Lounge 2013]
When English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran released ÷, not only did he top the charts in the UK, but he also won the Brit Award for the Best Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. His second album x released in 2014, was even more of breakthrough success. The single “Thinking Out Loud” from x got Sheeran a 2016 Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year. His third album ÷ garnered him similar success from critics and audiences alike. His most recent album No. 6 Collaborations Project, which contains various collaborations with other pop artists like Justin Bieber and Chance the Rapper, was released in 2019. As of late, the new father has been taking a break from shows and social media to take a breather and enjoy time with his family.
ZZ Ward “365 Days” [LIVE SXSW 2014]
ZZ Ward dropped her first EP Criminal in 2012 which was closely followed by her first album Til The Casket Drops that same year. The album went on to see commercial success breaking into the top 10 on the AAA chart and the Top 40 Billboard charts. The Storm, Ward’s second album, came out in 2017 and reached #1 on the charts for Billboard Blues Albums in 2017. ZZ Ward uses her blues/rock style to empower not only herself, but her audiences as well. Her latest single, “Giant” came out this August:
SYML “Where’s My Love” [LIVE SXSW 2018] | Austin City Limits Radio
SYML performed “Where’s My Love” during ACL Radio’s Live Morning Broadcast at the W Austin during SXSW in 2018.
SYML (pronounced sim-mel) is the moody solo project of Brian Fennell of the band Barcelona. The name SYML comes from the Welsh word for “simple” which he decided on after learning his biological parents are Welsh. Many of his song lyrics describe his experience with his heritage and adoption/ He released his debut album titled SYML through Nettwerk Records in 2017. He released his latest single in July titled “The Dark” which is an emotional ballad about isolation and distance:
Missio “Bottom of the Deep Blue Sea” [LIVE ACL 2017]
Missio joined Austin City Limits Radio back in 2018 during our ACL Fest Live Morning Broadcast and performed “Bottom of the Deep Blues Sea” off their debut album Loner.
The duo is currently set to release their new album Can You Feel The Sun. The Austin band have revealed that they feel it’s their best album yet, and are hoping their work will help “people all around the world.” Leading up to the release of their album, Missio have articulated the meaning of their upcoming tracks on social media. The group have shared photos including text with the song titles, providing descriptions for each one. Can You Feel The Sun is due out October 23.
Flora Cash “Missing Home” [LIVE ACL 2019]

The band released their third album Baby, It’s Okay in March, which includes 12 tracks. Fast forward to now, they’re planning on releasing a new single in the upcoming weeks. Flora Cash shared the news on social when they expressed their excitement over reaching four million monthly listeners on Spotify. “Thank you all so much for building this with us. we have a new song coming in the next few weeks that we’re so excited to share with you. hang tight out there, stay well and be safe. we love ya’ll,” they wrote.
